Collective map of pareidolic perception

A collective experiment mapping what people see in ambiguous images.

with Kairos, Université de Montréal

A collective neuroscience experiment on pareidolia, the tendency to perceive faces, animals, and figures in random or ambiguous patterns. Participants look at images and report the forms they see, to study how image complexity shapes what a viewer can imagine.

Responses gather into a collective map of perception across participants, alongside a gallery of the images themselves. Data is anonymous and used for research only.
